Frequently Asked Questions

But what if I’m not an athlete?

That’s okay! There is no requirement for you to be an athlete or extremely active to schedule a session. Anyone can benefit from massage therapy, whether you work a desk job or are training for a gold medal. If you’re experiencing muscle aches, pain, or tension, I can help you! Check out the list of
services to see what the best option is for you.

Most massage techniques are designed to be performed directly onto the skin and this method produces the best results. While my unique techniques are still effective even when performed through clothing, I typically recommend removing all garments. You will have total privacy while you undress and your modesty will be protected at all times. You will be covered with a sheet and blanket during the entire session, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered during that time to ensure that you always feel safe and secure.

If you choose to remain fully clothed for your Massage please wear comfortable athletic clothing; sports bras and athletic shorts or loose-fitting pants for ladies, athletic shorts or loose-fitting pants for men.

There can be some discomfort when addressing a pain problem, but when performed correctly, deep tissue massage is NOT painful. Your massage is completely customized to you! This includes the depth of pressure that will be used during the session. I will communicate and check-in with you during the session to make sure that I am always working in the zone of YOUR perfect pressure. YOU SHOULD NEVER BE IN UNBEARABLE PAIN DURING A DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE.

While the gesture is appreciated, gratuity is not expected. The best way to show your appreciation is to spread the word by referring me to a friend or family member.

I do not offer pregnancy massage but I’m happy to refer you to a massage therapist who does.

Yes, with parent or guardian’s permission and (optional) presence in the room.

If you have a fever, severe cold, the flu, or anything else that is potentially contagious, do not schedule a massage. If you are sick, please contact me immediately to reschedule your appointment. If you have a skin infection or other diagnosed skin condition, you may need to delay getting a massage or remain clothed for your session. If in doubt, call and ask. Your treatment will be safer and more enjoyable when you are well again. Please note there is a 24-hour cancellation policy in effect.

No. Clients are seen by appointment only. Please call or text to inquire about scheduling a same-day or last minute appointment.

Unfortunately, no. Not at this time.

Not a spa session. Results, not routines. No cookie-cutter flow.
